Francis 'Frank' Gallagher (born 23 February 1951) is a Scottish actor and musician best known for his role of Detective Sergeant Tony Malcolm in Taggart and gangster Lenny Murdoch in River City.

Gallagher is also known for featuring as various characters in the sketch show Scotch and Wry, and also making numerous appearances in shows such as The Sweeney, Minder, The Professionals, Rab C. Nesbitt, Coronation Street, Heartbeat, Inspector Morse, Midsomer Murders, Life On Mars and most recently Emmerdale.

Erlier in his career he featured in television roles such as Last of the Summer Wine, and also featured as Captain Phil McCulloch in the Doctor Who-serials Invasion of the Dinosaurs, Terror of the Autons and Battlefield. His film appearances also include Local Hero, Empire of the Sun, Braveheart, Trainspotting and most recently Burke and Hare.
